Jake Spencer is a Los Angeles-based writer with a New York-based voice box. Apparently, the word “yesterday” really gives him away, but it isn’t his fault his mother sounds like the current SAG-AFTRA president (if you’re reading this in the future it was Fran Drescher). That graphic designer married a Wall Street guy named Jake’s father and had him under the light of a full moon. I don’t think that’s true, but it would explain why he’s so hairy.
It may too explain his knack for digressing rather than getting to the point that Jake is also a copywriter, with 7 years experience, whose handiwork you can see on campaigns for Nike, Marvel, Dell, Bethesda, and Bud Light as well as on trailers for video games like Clash of Clans and Angry Birds plus (I know this is a run-on sentence I promise my grammar is very good) on a variety of social and digital copy for Experian, Western Digital, the Alienverse, and PUBG.
Jake is a proud NYU Tisch Alumni where he gained his degree in dramatic writing and fine art as well as his love for late-night Cuban food, vintage letterman jackets, and witty British writers (i.e. Oscar Wilde and Iris Murdoch). When not copywriting he’s otherwriting anything from articles to poetry to a novel he’ll never finish. He’s insatiably curious…please feed him, I can only keep him busy for so long.
